Shoprite
Harrasment

On the 6th of August 2013, I went to Shoprite Thokoza with my daughter. So I decided to not do my shopping because of the queues was long. So as I was about to leave the security guard from Stallion asked to search my handbag so I allowed her to. Point no 1: She did not have a stick that other security companies use to search people's bags. Than, she asked me to remove my daughters blanket so that she can search just incase if I and placed stuff there. I still didnt say anything. Than she asked to search my babies bag, which was started to be really uncomfortable as she found TLC wipes which Shoprite doesnt even sell. She gave me attitute on how I must not tell her that. Basically she searched everypart of stuff that I had on me like I something. Really felt like a piece of or is it because I am black and in a township shop, I am not saying do not search and all, but there is a way to do it. If she really felt that I something couldnt she take me to a private room and than search me properly. Without embarrising me infront of everyone @ the shop. I am not happy @ all. She needs to go to yet another course and be trained how do deal with clients.
