About 3 months ago I bought a lovely pair of black, fitted pants from the Woolworths RE range. They cost R250 and I thought them to be perfect for work and would last me at least through the year.
I wore them on a Monday and by mid-morning they were covered with lint! They seemed to have picked up fibers from absolutely anything and everything. It was terribly embarrassing and not work-appropriate to look like that at all.
I thought perhaps they just needed to have a first wash and then they'd be fine, but when I wore them again about a week later the same thing happened.
I don't work in an environment with anything fluffy, it is a completely normal environment, nor do I wear jerseys.
I tried wearing them once more (a third time) but socially (so the environment was different) and the same thing happened again.
This is SO disappointing! A brand new pair of stunning black pants that cost me R250 and I cannot wear them. I would return them, but I seem to have misplaced the slip.
I am loyal to the Woolworths brand - about 75% of my wardrobe is Woolworths clothing - and this has really upset me to waste money and sit with such an inferior quality product.
