I bought a tube of Colgate toothpaste which split down the side on the first day of use. I decided to call the Customer Care Line. These things can happen, I know, but since I had bought the toothpaste at Checkers on a "Manager's Special" I thought I would call and report the 'defect' as it may be a problem with the particular batch. This is however not my main concern.
The complaint I have is that the Customer Care Line has an automated answering service "we are currently experiencing high call volumes ...". I have left 4 messages on this 0860-114146 number in the last 6 working days and have still had no response from Colgate Palmolive.
Come on Colgate Palmolive - get your act together. We all have problems with our product from time to time, but it is HOW we deal with our customers and good customer service that sets a business apart from the rest.
