On 09 July 2013 we purchased 2 x single stack beds from Andy's Mart. Payment was made on the day and we collected the beds 3 or 4 days later. Once we had put the beds together it came to our attention that they were not matching beds and had been sold to us under false pretenses.
I immediately contacted Andy's Mart to inform them of this and asked if we could return the beds and get a full refund. They had no problem with that.
The beds were then returned to them and my banking info was provided on the same day in order for them to refund the amount of R600.00.
Up to today I have STILL not been paid back my money. I contacted them on Saturday 20 July 2013 and requested feedback on the matter, and was informed that they would get Paul to contact me. Thank goodness I did not hold my breath. Contacted them again today, 26 July 2013, only to be told Paul is away and will only be back on Monday.
I informed the shop assistant that I will be in Howick tomorrow and collect payment in cash, and she told me that i can not do that, only Paul, who is unreachable, can refund me.
Daylight! They are very quick to take someone's money, but refuse to pay me back!
