I bought a pack of lamb chops on Thursday to braai on the weekend. The whole time it was in my fridge, i smelled something rotten, but not even once did I suspect that it could be the chops. On Saturday when we opened the package to braai, we saw that the meat has turned green and that the awful smell came from that. I am very unsatisfied with this as I paid R121 for this meat. But this is not the first time that I have bought rotten meat from Checkers. I have bought, on different occasions, Kasler chops and a whole chicken that was rotten. I did not complain about that but now I think that I should have! I am a very frequent customer at Checkers and I buy all my croceries there. But this might make me reconsider!
