On the 12/07/13, I was at Eastgate Polo Store, checking what to buy for my work clothes. I saw items that I was interested to buy and was checking the sizes. There was a sales assistant who was pretending to be arranging clothes. I was minding my own business, after some time I realised that she was actually following me in each and every row as if I was a shoplifter. All along she was watching my every move as if I was a "suspect". When it hit me, I felt so disgusted, angry and I was speechless. I left the shop without the items I wanted to buy. Its 2013, Black sales assistants still see Black shoppers as potential shoplifters. When is this bad behaviour going to stop? Is it because we are easy targets? Are these sales assistant trained to observe mainly Black shoppers on shoplifting? I am a professional for heavensake, I can afford to buy myself clothes. It's sad that Polo lost sales on ill mannered and badly trained staff. How many other hidden losses have you suffered on such people? This is not only Bad Service, its such Bad Manners. I am going to give Polo Eastgate a break. Should I want any Polo clothes I'll go to Stuttafords or Edgars for a professional shopping experience.
