24 Dec 12 we ordered 2 Birkshire lowback chairs. The order was paid for on the date. Due to holidays, delivery would be in Feb.
18 Feb the chairs were delivered. One chair had black oil stains on the side and was not accepted. 2nd chair was accepted, but upon closer inspection it had an oil stain and a flaw in the seat material. The sales person was notified and 19 Feb the documents were filled in for the 2nd chair to be returned.
28 Feb the 1st chair was redelivered with the same oil stains, and again not accepted. Due to documentation, the 2nd chair couldn't be returned with the 1st that day. The 2nd chair was picked up for return on 4 Mar. After several calls to the store manager was it clear that they only knew of one chair, but they will look into it.
A contact prompted the MD of Rochester, and on 10 May Kevin from HQ phoned and promised to look into the matter. It required several follow-up calls to Kevin, with empty promises that calls will be returned. The last call on 24 Jun, Kevin said the chairs needed to be inspected and will be delivered. The chairs have yet to arrive. Today Kevin was not available and another (empty) promise was made that he would get back to me.
