I regularly receive e-mails from Edcon on specials and promotions. After receiving an e-mail I went to check out the website and saw a special promotion on the Samsung Galaxy Tablets. Of course I went to the nearest Edgars store in Middelburg and firstly was told that this is for new account holders only. I returned again to the website to see if I did not make a mistake, but the website clearly states that the offer is valid for new and existing customers, I printed this and returned again to Edgars store to then be told that the offer was only valid till the end of last month, confused I went to CNA also a part of the Edcon group and was told the same thing. Again I returned to the website to check again and saw that the offer is valid while stocks last. This time I phoned Edgars Middelburg to be told that they do not sell tablets. CNA though has plenty of stock on this item. Why is Edcon misleading their customers? Is this a regular thing with Edcon? I actually feel like closing my account, this is not the type of service I expect from a leading company!
