I have bought chicken pieces as well as chicken breasts from Woolworths for the last 3 years and have not had a problem. However since the beginning of this year 2013 i have bought at least 6 packs of chicken and out of 6, 4 packs of chicken have been rotten. I have taken them back and received a voucher for the amount which is good on behalf of the store. The attendant advised me that they are having a problem with the supplier but surely this should have been sorted out by now? Some people are buying the chicken and if they don't know what rotten chicken smells like they will eat it and could get bad food poisoning or even worse. I have actually gone off chicken now due to Woolworths supplying rotten chicken. I understand mistakes do happen but iv given Woolworths a fourth chance and that was still a disappointment.
