Background of what has happened with Edgars/CJR Gift sales:
"I sent in my Police watch after the glass fell off. It was still under warranty as it was just over a year old. After numerous issues including "courier issues", I finally have word (after almost 12 weeks) that I now have to pay R370 to have it fixed as the case and the glass is not covered under the warranty. There was nothing wrong with either when I sent it in. The glass face merely popped out completely, which to me seems more like poor workmanship than anything else then. I sympathize with each and every single person who would ever have to deal with them."
After I asked Edgars to get my watch back from CJR on 2013-05-30, I have yet to receive my watch from them. I spoke to the lady I initially gave my watch in for repairs on 2013-07-08 where I was then told she will confirm and phone me back within 10 minutes. 2 days later when I still have not heard anything I once again phone to find out what is going on only to find out that my watch has still not been returned. This is getting absolutely ridiculous and I can not fathom what happened to customer service in this country.
