Incorrect bar code was placed in baby dummy

On the 05/07/2013 i went to buy huggies and a baby dummy where i took the product it was R16, 99 but when i got to the cashier it scanned R 29, 99, so i told the cashier she went to check and found that the was no price for the bottle as the bar-code was not there she asked the guys who works with baby products he said if its not there its not his problem the cashier should see what to do. i told the cashier that since there is no price i must get the product free so she said never, she called the supervisor and she said it will never happen. so i ask them about the scan rite rule she said the rule is no more at their shop and immediately called another lady to remove the scan rite sign. I'm a Pick n Pay customer i do most of my shopping there as it is the only shop nearby but i was disappointed of the service i received for a fault that was not mine. i dont think i will want to do my shopping there again.
