TORN LADIES TIGHTS REFUSAL OF EXCHANGE

I bought ladies black tights (amongst other things) for winter at the Identity retail store at the Irene Village Mall on Sunday the 30 June 2013, late in the afternoon @ 16:06 for R55.00.I got home excited because i always wanted those type of tights, opened them, my husband asked to have a look at them before i tried them on and i found that they are torn on the inner leg on the left side. i then refused to try them on and decided to take them back the next Day which is yesterday the 01 July 2013 after work. i got there with my slip and the packaging, i never wore them and they were torn but they told me that they do not take them back. i bought them torn and now i'm told that i must have damaged them while trying them on. i am so angry right now. if i tore them i wouldn't have gone back because then it would be my fault. i want value for my money, damaged clothes its not value for my money. i am now on going to open the packaging at the store before buying to ensure that they are not torn as they are tricking us.
