To whom it may concern
I was at Jet Boulders (Midrand) shop on the 23th June 2013 at 12:05pm to open a new account and after going through the 15minute telephonic interview, the store was instructed to fax my passport copy and work permit for verification.
When i contacted the shop on the 24th June 2013, i was AMAZED to to be informed that Jet doesn't open accounts for foreigners with temporary residence permits but only work permits. I hold an exceptional skills work permit and was SHOCKED to be told it wasn't a work permit. The lady who called me from the stored couldn't even speak English properly, so i wonder what her interpretation of the various permit issued by the department of home affairs are.
I hereby wish to use this medium to get in touch with someone from Jet who understand the differences between work permits to further explain to me why an exceptional skills work permit isn't considered as a work permit by the staff of Jet (Boulders, Midrand) branch.
