I wish to complain about Morkels in Secunda who after I had bought a 3 piece lounge suite in November 2012 is yet to assist me after I had reported in December 2012 that the two seater stiches on the fold were torn.
I have been to the store a number of times in an attempt to find out exactly what is going on as nothing has has happened since I reported this in December 2012 but everytime, the store manager just apologizes without giving any valid reason as to why I have not been helped.
It is almost six months now since I reported the torn two seater couch and about three weeks ago I went to the store again to report another damage that I have just discovered on the two other couches and this time arround I got an sms which said Morkels acknowledged the receipt of my complaint and they would send some people to come and inspect the couches, however, til to date I am still waiting.
The question has got be asked, if as a customer who bought these couches for cash and was told that the couches had a two year guarantee I made to wait for more than six months to be assisted, is this really what their two year guarantee is all about?
