On Sunday, 9 June 2013 @ 12:52 we went to our local Clicks store, just to find the doors closed for the business day. The trading hours on the door stipulated that closing time for Sunday's are 13:00. When we knocked on the door to ask if we can come in to buy medicine at the pharmacy. The lady manning the door told us that the shop is closed and they (the staff) must be out of the store by 13:00. At this stage she let another customer from the inside leave the shop and I took the gap to enter the store, went to the pharmacy to get the medicine and went to pay in front. I asked the lady at the till, Felicity, if I could speak to the Manager. Her reply that he is on sick leave, but pointed at the back to a gentleman standing there, and told me that he will help me. I told him the situation and that the trading hours throughout the shop stipulates that the store's trading times is until 13:00. He then told me that I must look at it in a humane way. All the staff members needs to get home with public transport and as it is Sunday it is difficult to get home. They also close store if it is quiet. This is the second time I notice them closing the store earlier than stipulated.
