Time and time again i have gone to purchase lunch at the cascades checkers, only to find that during the lunch time peak hour, there is only like ONE staff member working behind the deli, with so many people to serve you end up waiting for a very long time to be served. not only that but i also had an experience at the bakery section not too long ago where i was waiting forever to be served along with some of the checkers staff also waiting to purchase goods, i was there first obviously, but as soon as someone finally arrives to help, they go and serve the checkers staff first before me. i immediately said are you actually kidding me??? i was here first and you help them? and the staff member just stands there and stares at me.
i experienced the same lack of service at the Southcoast mall checkers bakery as well. not only lack of staff, but a till packer that was dancing around very loudly with some friends at the bakery section and actually bumped into me. to top it all off i get to the tills and they refuse my R50 note as they dont have change. at this stage i have had it. i thought maybe it would be one store, but it seems like this whole chain may be a joke...
