September 2012 I was retrenched from my previous work, I have an account with Edgars that I was paying without missing a payment until i could not pay anymore.
As I was sold a protection plan for the account, without missing any of my payments then, I initiated the claim at Edgars Westgate Shopping Mall.
Until today I get calls from debt collectors and none of them say anything about the claim i put or even the protection itself.
No one form Edgars has made a follow up about the claim that I had put. I am really in the dark and don't where else to go to.
I'm really confused as now I do not understand why I was paying monthly for a protection plan that cannot and did not protect anything on my account when I was Retrenched.
As a result I am liable for the Arrears that I have incurred as no one seem know what happened to the protection plan.
