Defying Service beyond expectation

I returned home from a 5day unexpected stay in hospital, only to find that apart from the geyser and taps had burst, my second hand dishwasher stopped working. I contacted Defy office via email on Monday 3 June 2013 requesting assistance. Robyn immediately contacted (I mean within 5 minutes of sending the email) to advise that they have technicians that repair appliances onsite.

The Machine is worth R5000, so I was more than willing to have them repair it, but still the parts was still questionable. At first Robyn stated that the Technician could only attend to me two days later, I begged her as I was due to go back to hosp on that day. She logged it for Tuesday 5 June, and behold, the technician phoned and attended to the machine the following morning (within 24hrs). Unfortunately the problem was bigger than what was suspected, the whole motore seized. The technician advised that he would return the following day (without any further call out fees) to replace the motor and gave me a maximum estimate.

The technician returned, with motor in hand and 30minutes later, machine is as new! The whole thing cost me R1000, which is way less than a new machine! Thank you Defy!!
