On the 04/06/2013 I went to Mr Price in Midrand at The Carlswald Centre at 5:50pm to buy an item, the door of Mr price was closed but there were still customers in the store, the security guard refused to let me in, she said i was late and the store is closed. The next day I got there at 5:45pm the same security guard saw me coming towards the store and yet she still closed the door and walked away, and started packing clothes in the front of the store ignoring me standing outside, there were alot of other employees who saw me and there were 3 other customers waiting outside with me. Eventually when a customer had finished paying the security guard came and opened the door for her to leave, and then assisted us, she refused to let us in as she said the store closes at 5:45. We argued as on the door it states the trading hours are 9;00am-6:00pm., The security guard stated that the time of 6:00pm is to only accommodate the customers in the store.
Trading hours of Mr Price is 9:00am-6:00pm the doors should close at 6:00pm and not at 5:45pm to accommodate staff going home early. the last customer should enter the store a 6;00pm.
