I have paid my Edgars account in January, but paid more than double the instalment. I have paid it in the beginning of the month and not at the end of the month. Thus I paid upfront and double. At the end of Feb they sms me to say they will list me as a bad payer because I did not pay in January. When I tried to contact them, they refused to see that as a payment and said that the system will not accept it and I have to pay another payment (thus the 3rd payment for 1 month). I even went to the Capegate branch and spoke to a manager there. She was suppose to phone me back, but I didn't hear from her. Since then I've been charged late payment interest. Every month they phone me about the same thing and every time I explained the story. Then they promise to fix it, but nothing gets done. (Sometimes I even get attitude over the phone.) I've been a good client with Edgars for more than 20 years and never got this treatment. Their system fails their clients!!!
