I purchased a bottle of L'OReal excell10', 7 natural dark blonde. I have been using this exact colour for a few years now and have never changed or tried another colour. The reason for this is because I am very happy with the results I obtain from this colour and enjoy the peace of mind of consistent results. However, I was IMMENSELY disappointed last week when I applied the colour and saw the horrific results. My roots went a light orange-brown colour and the length of my hair now has an orange tint When applying the colour, i noticed that the colour had a very strong odor, but I thought perhaps it was just a change in the chemicals. I am not sure if this maybe is an indication that something was wrong with the colour. The gloves were also orange. On top of now having orange hair, I was attending a very important formal the following evening and had to go feeling uncomfortable and very conscience of my hair. I take great care of my hair and like it to look its best, so as you can imagine this is a very disappointing. I have pictures of the top of my hair so you can see what I am talking about. I use L'OReal because I have trust in the company, this goes against all expectations.
