I arrived at Woolies customer service at about 16:25. When I got there, there was a gentleman who was being assisted and I was the only one queuing. The gentleman left at 16:35 and the lady who was assisted her was still on the phone trying to find a jacket for the gentleman. At about 16:50, the lady was still on the phone trying to locate the jacket. I understand fully that she was assisting the previous customer 20 minutes after he had left the store. What I did not appreciate was that the lady didn't even explain to me that she was busy, she let me stand there on the queu like a fool. When I indicated that I was leaving, she didn't even put the phone down to say "sorry mam, I'll attend to you just now". She just continued as if I wasn't even there. I'm appalled at the non-service I received from WoolworthsWoodmead today. I've heard a lot of stories about the store, which I choose to ignore but I saw it today. I also understand fully well that the store is not the problem but rather the people that work for it. I'm so dissapointed, where is customer service when you need it?
