Woolworths is associated with good customer service, but today I experienced the worst customer service ever. I phoned Woolworths two days [Tuesday 21 May 2013] ago to request a settlement letter and I was told that the letter will be email to me within 48hrs. I phoned today [23 May 2013] to follow up and find out what the delay was. I first spoke to a guy by the name of Troana at around 11h50am he promised me that they will send the letter in two hours as he has sent an urgent requested for the letter to be sent. I phone again two and half hours latter and spoke to Grace who kept me holding for more than five minutes and eventually hung-up on me. I phoned again spoke to Merwonene [that's how she spelt her name] who told me that Grace was busy. Explained to her what the story was and she kept on interrupting me until I asked to speak directly with the people that send these precious settlement letters that's when she sprung into action and again asked me to hold. The minutes spend on the phone holding where nothing short of 20mins in total calling for one simple thing. Eventually I did get the letter but after making threats of going to hello peter about my experience.
