PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE

Was looking for a 16" Bicycle for my daughter and saw the Raleigh Starz in the game ad 17-20 Jan'13.The ad shows"16"/20" STARZ OR REP BMX for R549 and picture of the girls starz bike. Next to this it shows another"16"/20" STARZ OR REP BMX for R 699 and picture of the boys bike. Went to Game waterfall on the 17th Jan 2013. Asked sales person for 1 of these 16" bikes. He tells me it's a misprint and should read 12" for R549, the 16"/20" starz bike is R699. I then took it to the till and scanned for R699. I called the 1st manager and told him that if the ad/leaflet has a misprint, then as a consumer, I have the right to pay this price (according to the consumer protection act). He replied pamphlets show terms and conditions about misprints, I found no terms and conditions or any clauses. The next manager's story changed. He told me that bikes look the same, but the one bike is a "back pedal brake bike"and the other is not? 3 different stories. Previous service issues - on numerous leaflets since last year Game had specials on the 16"/20" Backtrail little princess bike but never have stock of the 16". I have queried this. I GAVE UP WAITING. pathetic after sales service as well.
