Use ofcard, lack of interest from edgars

I have had an edgars account for 5 years. On 1April 2013 I went to edgars Sandton to buy winter clothes for kids for R2500. My mom in PE wanted to get something to wear to a funeral the following week. The plan was I would write a letter, make a copy of my ID and Edgars card and fax to the branch authorising her to use my account. Contacted Greenacres edgars to get their fax no., and they advised that fax through by client is no longer accepted, I had to get to the closest Edgars branch and customer service would help with this exercise. Monday 8 April, get to Edgars Sandton, and the customer agent assists me, and tells me that my mother can buy for R680! Shocked there should be about R5000. She advised that I had transacted in Bloem the previous day, 3 transactions 3 different edgars to the tune of R4000!!! Feeling violated! Completed dispute paperwork, suggested they check their cctv footage at those 3 stores to see who bought! To this date, I have called edgars 4 times, no word from dept, they called me 2x to tell me my account is overdue. I have made payment towards the R2500, will not pay for their lack of investigation of R4000! CPA! receive smses saying pay acc
