Ordered BBC box set (receipt RCL0C0122224) on 15 Feb 2013 - Yes Prime Minister_Complete Collection. Terms & conditions of receipt says "Special orders may take... or 3 weeks to 3 months for certain imported product." At the 3 month mark, after 3 telephone calls from my side.. the item is not available. The store manager cannot tell me when it will be available... 30 months... 3 years... Truth is, it is available from BBC & Amazon for about R250. The quoted store price is R699. Questions: 1) Why doesn't Look & Listen outsource the unavailable item directly if their contracted supplier cannot produce the goods - it is not as if Look & Listen will be losing money: R699 - R250? 2) Somebody needs to explain to me why it is my problem and expense when Look & Listen cannot produce the goods according to contract (till slip), since Look & Listen is unwilling to refund me into my bank account or bring my money to me. 3) Why no follow up from Look & Listen to me regarding my order progress?
Please respond without the expected "policy dictates" etc.
