2005 (or thereabouts) Pick n Pay started go Banking and it was fantastic. The charges were low and the interest wasn't to be expected and the minimum balance required was R50.00. The ran as branch of Nedbank. THEn a couple of years ago they handed go banking back to NEDBANK and since then everything has gone pear shaped. I recently found that NEDBANk are charging me a monthly R16.00 maintenance fee because I don't keep R5000 in my bank account. Who can actually keep R5000 in their bank account? I certainly can't and I can't afford to pay the R16.00 fee every month either.
My complaint is that Pick n Pay has left their go banking customers in the lurch and we are stuck with Nedbank's nefarious deeds.
When I complained to Pick n pay a week ago I got a blanket reply and no contact with a human being.
