We always buy our birthday cakes from Meyersdal Spar, but on the last time we went and buy a cake for my youngest Son, we saw they have a BAR ONE cake and my wife asked fo it, when the lady handed it over, my wife found that the date have expired already, when she said she want another one she were told that this cake is fine "they just forgot to replace the old price ticket with a new date", now this cake we looked at we could see that that was not fresh anymore eve they will change the date. This is shocking how many time did a customer not been caught by old stock been sold with"new price and date stickers".
I went back later that afternoon and went to look to see what happen to that cake and saw it on display with new date I'm sure it was the same cake as the plastic container had a specific mark when we looked at it.
