I have been shopping at the Claremont Pick and Pay again as stock availability has improved lately and it is convenient as I go to the gym in the centre.
On the weekend however I was once again reminded what cost I pay for this convenience. Once again the prepared food staff were, to say the least, shocking. No greeting when you approach the counter... just a vacant stare. I order what I need asking the price first. No one knows and there is a shouting back and forth. The one staff member the proceeds to pick her nose in full view!!
I got the rest of the items I needed but once again there were out of stocks... Tomato puree and Chick peas. When I went to Checkers to pick up the items you were out of stock of I was amazed to notice the price difference in the items I had bought at P&P.
The following items were the most glaring:
Krone Borealis - Checkers R 72 - P&P R 89.99 - 25%!!!
Condensed milk (housebrand) Checkers R 11.49 - PP R 15.79 - 37%!!
Dairybelle long life milk - Checkers R 44.99 Pick and P&P R 59.79 - 32%!!
I bought 5 bottles of Krone something I buy regularly so
