IDENTITY!!!

Dear Hellopeter,

I am 61 years old and have never in my life had a HomeChoice account, so about two weeks ago I applied for a set of pots since I need new pots. HomeChoice did not get back to me. When I called to ask what is going on I was already on their system, under a different surname, address, telephone and details I am not familiar with. I spoke to a very nice lady but I don't remember her name, I told her I have never in my life had a Homechoice account and that this is the first time I am applying. She said she will investigate the matter but until now I have not heard anything and am very concerned that this happened. How can somebody else take your ID number and open an account? Or how can such a mistake be made that your ID number gets linked to someone else?

Can you please help? Other than everything I have already done I don't know what else to do and feel helpless.
