I am very disappointed to learn I have paid double instalments on my Foschini account this month. On Sunday, 28 April 2013 I paid my current instalment in store as per my statement. A few days later I get debited for the same amount. Where is the reward for being diligent and paying your account on time AND in full when thousands of people default their payments. How could your system not pick up that I had already paid my account for the month???
I am a single Mom and I cannot afford to pay double instalments on my account.
I was helped by the customer care office and the lady said I can be refunded at the store I made my payment in. So now is it for me to go running around, driving around and dealing with people who are going to need to make me because Foschini made the mistake.
This is not the first time this has happened to me. I often pay double due to paying in store and being debited.
A glitch on the system is a slack excuse given technology is so advanced these days.
