During June 2010 my geyser packed up after quite a few years of service. I called my plumber and he installed a new Franke geyser on the 24th June 2010. During September 2012 the geyser stopped working - after just over 2 years service. I called my plumber and after he checked he said the element and the thermostat had packed up. I asked him if the geyser didn't have a 5 year guarantee. He said it did, but this did not cover the element or thermostat. He got hold of kits and replaced both items at a "hefty" cost to me. Being a pensioner I could ill afford this expense. So if the geyser packs up again I will certainly not get a Franke geyser. Like Martin6876 said in his complaint "STAY AWAY FROM FRANKE."
