I attempted to purchase two bottles of benylin (non-prescription drug). The pharmacist asked me why I needed two bottles. I feel that this was not his concern as, firstly, he is not my doctor and secondly, the drug is not a prescription drug. I asked him if it was illegal for me to purchase 2 bottles and he replied that it was not.
This is a retail store and as such I am entitled to purchase any quantity of any item on the shelf. I have not had a problem such as this in any other clicks store. I could have wanted two bottles for any number of reasons. The instructions on the box with regard to dosage amounts are are clear. It is not my concern as to whether or not this affects the pharmacist's "code of ethics."
