I installed a Matrix tracking unit on 25 March 2013 in Centurion, Gauteng.
I signed a contract with all my particulars, no where was my brother's details entered.
My brother upgraded his Matrix unit in George, Western Cape last week, he added my name and mobile number as second emergency contact on the contract.
This morning I phoned Matrix to ask why I havent seen the monthly fee go off on my account that I signed the debit order for.
Siga Nkumise answered that my registration number is linked to my brothers account and that the money will go off from his account!
Mix Telematics have got it all mixed up and does not know who is who or who pays for what.
How is this possible if two separate contracts were entered into and signed individually? And two unique serial numbers for the tracking units exist?
I have contacted Prashanth Kewalpershad a senior consultant who said he will send it to the relevant department to sort out.
I am waiting to see if they can actually fix their mess as it seems their admin is total chaos and no one takes ownership.
