I contacted ADT about a damaged cable. They informed me about a callout fee and asked if I will do a EFT or should they deduct it from my bank. I stated I will do an EFT. ADT people come to fix it. The person only closed the cable with insulation tape and did not even put in a new cable. Then they deducted another amount for this directly from my bank account. With a total cost of R937 for 5 minutes work. I phoned the call center and was cut of 4 times. The person there then informed me he cannot get my account on the system and I am not a ADT client. He informed me he will phone me back and nothing happened. I tested my alarm after this and half of the zones do not work, thus the person who "fixed" it did not even do his job properly and I paid double. I phoned ADT when the alarm did not work and to date no one have contacted me about the extra cost, my account or the alarm which is not working.
