Customer safety not worth the effort

My ADT alarm is triggered A LOT, mainly becuase of one faulty motion sensor and one faulty door sensor. I will commend adt for one thing, every time the alarm goes off, they are at our gate asap. But that's where my compliment, and they, stop. As adt doesn't think it worth the effort to jump the rather low front boundary wall (a reason for an alarm to begin with) to come into the property and check for signs of a break in. Rather, if I physically cannot go to the gate to unlock and let them in, they leave a note saying "we were at the gate" and then leave. So, in the midst of a break in, I must walk through my house past the robbers to open the gate for secirity? I'm sure any would let me pass by and let in the security men, no problem. Even for false alarms, that sense of fear to go through the house is still there, checking on my own negates the role of adt somehow. Needless to say the lack of effort made by the security to even check properly if we are in fact being robbed, the lack of physical effort to gain access makes me wonder why I have security at all. will go through the hassle of jumping walls to rob us, but security wouldn't do the same to protect us
