I had car insurance with First for Women/Dial Direct and they use Altech Netstar for tracking. At no point did I sign a contract with Altech Netstar and when I cancelled my insurance with First for Women/Dial Direct I was informed that the tracking would also be cancelled. In fact the mandatory 3 year contract with Altech Netstar was at an end.
I don't know what the deal is between these companies but I've been harassed by Altech staff for months now. I've had endless calls and emails and each time I have to tell a different person the same thing. I am not paying a cent because I got a new insurance company and I have not used Altech since September 2012. Your threats don't scare me, I kept all the email correspondence and I record all my calls.
