Can not cancel my contract

First we had a lightning strike damage our alarm system. ADT was contacted for repairs. I had an appointment with them for the Tues, and they ensured me that the technician will contact me 1 hour before arrival. No one contacted me. That afternoon I get a letter stating that the technician contacted me, and no one was home. (although our house keeper was home the entire day). I called ADT to make another appointment. They said that the technician will contract me on the Thurs, yet again no one contacted me, nor did any one show up at the house (my husband was home the entire day). I then found another company to fix the alarm, and wanted to cancel the armed response services. I phoned ADT customer services, on 14 Feb 2013, the consultant said that I should email my request to [Email Removed] I did, and received a ticket number E54441E51381F, and a note stating that some-one will contact me within 24h. No one contacted me. I phone customer services again. The consultant said that I should email [Email Removed] and I did receiving another ticket number E39E82551BF24, still no responce. I phone again, only to be put on hold until finally cut off!
