We had an incident at our house and our panic buttons did not work. I phoned ADT Security who informed me that it was the company who installed the alarm systems fault. There was no installation, it was merely a change of alarm company. On the 11th February 2013 ADT sent a technician to "connect" our panic buttons. We were charged R460.00 for this. I have left at least 8 messages for someone in authority to explain to me why we are being charged for something that should have been working in the first place. I phoned ADT this morning to inform them that from the date their technical team was here, our alarm power button has been flashing, and we now don't have an alarm system at all. I was merely transferred to ESP Alarms again! Someone called my husband on Friday to enquire if we were happy with ADT. My husband said no. He said that he would phone my husband back in an hour. We are still waiting. Why did we move to ADT if this is the service we are getting. I would not recommend people to sign up with them. They have staff who are not properly trained answering their phones, and management who do not call their customers back.
