Outstanding example of what can be done!

On Sunday 02 February 2014 at 2 AM (!!) my trusted old gate motor was damaged beyond repair due to floods and I had to stand in pouring rain opening a 500 kg sliding gate manually for returning cars (from FNB stadium). At 6 am I send sms messages to Daneel Lombard (Olive Brokers) and Marc (Son Security) crying for help! Daneel became my broker less than three months ago and I changed my insurer to BnBSure. Marc has been on the property only once before in 2010. I had no doubt that after a storm like that, my cry for help would be one of many all over Jhb. But this was the outcome:
BY 10 AM SUNDAY MORNING (ONLY 4 HOURS AFTER SENDING THE INITIAL SMS MESSAGES):
1) Damage Report (with photographs) completed and approved by BnBSure
2) Necessary Quotations submitted and approved
3) Payment procedures and timeline communicated to and agreed by all parties
4) Pre-approval from BnBSure to continue with installation
5) An installation team on standby waiting for the rain to clear for long enough period so that base area could dry sufficiently.
This is an outstanding example of what is still possible in the insurance and security market provided you have the right service provider!
