My husband and I went out for supper on New Years Eve. The valet service of the hotel where we went parked the vehicle on our behalf. We forgot to mention that there was a secret button that needed to be pressed or the tracking system would activate. The tracking system did activate and the call centre called us 5 times to find out what was happening. Unfortunately we did not have our mobile phones with us and couldn't answer. Only later when we saw the calls we phoned and told the lady that we were fine. After the last call however, the call centre left a message saying that if we are in trouble and needed help we should contact them. What is the point of having a tracking system if you have to contact them? We could have been hijacked and our phones and nobody would come looking. They've got alternative contact numbers on record but none of those numbers were contacted.
