Faulty lock

I installed a Maxidor security gate 6 months ago. The lock has got progressively more difficult to open. I am using the original key given to me by Maxidor. The lock now requires two hands to open. I have to hold the bolt mechanism with my left hand and at the same time jiggle the key in the lock to unlock the lock.

I would like the lock to be replaced or repaired so that I can open the gate with just one hand.
