Struggling to get my money back

I had 2 accounts with ADT for 2 properties, I sold both properties the 1 unit was cancelled and the oher unit the new owners took over, yet my account was still debited for the monthly installment for Dec month, after phoning to inform them that my account was debited they put me in contact with Patrick Govendin who completed the paper work needed for the refund and told me that I would be refunded on 28th Dec. to date I haven't got my money back. Im constantly having to phone and email to get answers and no one is able to help I get tossed from pillar to post, Patrick tells me that he doesn't know why I havent been refunded and will get back to me... im still waiting... ADT is quick to take your money but not quick in assisting their clients... I WILL NEVER AGAIN TAKE UP ANOTHER CONTRACT WITH ADT.
