I've been on vacation and happened to be close to home when i received a call from ADT on an alarm activation. I asked them to send a response unit as no-one was home. I got home about 15 minutes after the initial call. Thinking the mobile unit had been there already, did not think anything of it. A full 30 minutes after the call a unit arrived at my home. I asked why they took so long and when they received the call from the control room, he could not answer me. I called the control room and lodged a formal complaint. They were going to get a supervisior to call me named Allen. The very next day my alarm went of again and i was within 10 minutes from home. The unit eventually arrived 20 minutes after the activation. I was actually on line with Allen when they arrived, i mentioned that they are not delivering on their promised 10 minute SLA as contracted. I asked allen what they were going to do to correct this, he could not answer me.
I would suggest anyone as an ADT client to test their response time. I bet 80% of the time they cannot be at your home in the comtracted 10 minutes?
i will be looking for a new security company as ADT has received enough chances to redeem themselve
