I am really UNHAPPY with the service that I have received.
I had a unit installed last week Tuesday 2nd December 2013 by Starfit Centurion in my new vehicle. (Jeep Grand Cherokee 2013 Overland model)
On 3 separate occasions, I have telephone Altech Netstar to confirm if :
a. My old vehicle has been disconnected and require proof that this contract is cancelled;
b. If my new vehicle is now active and tracking
On all 3 occasions, I held on for 20 minutes before the call was answered and then once speaking to a consultant, they could not assist me and again I was placed on hold. Eventually, as it was me paying for the call, I had to hang up.
In the event of my vehicle being or hijacked, I have NO CONFIRMATION or PROOF that the unit is installed and working.
Therefore, I would like the unit removed immediately from the new vehicle as I cannot accept this level of service and based on my rights as stipulated in the Consumer Protection Act. Altech Netstar has not delivered the service as per the contract! I have also not received any certificate as proof of the installation.
Really PATHETIC service received.
