Wednesday our alarm was going off none stop. ADT called and said the panic button is going off. When I arrived home just before 4.00pm that afternoon, I asked the call centre to send someone to check it out. About 20 minutes later the security guard stopped and had no clue as to why he was sent to my premises. From Thursday morning after 12.00am, the alarm went off none stop, till eventually we turned it off after three in the morning with not a single call from ADT to check if all was okay. I called ADT just before 8.00am and spoke to Brandon for fifteen minutes, who assured me he will send a stand-by technician to my premises just after 5.00pm to check out the problem. I called again to confirm and spoke to Ashley. I called again after 3.00pm and spoke to Roshana who kept me waiting for twenty five minutes and advised they will only be at my premises after 1.30pm on Friday. I ask to speak the manager in charge and in turn spoke to Theo which now advised I have to pay a call out fee of R500. I'm a new client for a couple of days and now you want me to pay for their lack of bad service. No one came the Thursday and not a call from ADT to explain the reason why.
