Since the moment I signed a contract with ADT to install an alarm system I have had shocking service. First, they didn't pitch to install the alarm. It seems that the company operates with little internal coordination and communication. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. There was a breakdown between sales and the technical division, and only after much insisting and eventually shouting on my side was the alarm installed days later than agreed. They installed the alarm but never billed me - with the result that six weeks later I am not sure who owes whom... when does a company NOT bill? I have followed up on at least two occasions and no response. They haven't put up sign boards outside my house in 6 weeks! Surely the advertising is good for THEIR business and not just my protection. And then the piece de resistance - in the early hours of this morning it took 20 mins and an insistent phone call from me to get a car around to check what the problem is. And this morning I have just got off an expensive 20 min hold waiting to speak to a senior person about my various complaints. Did I succeed? no... in short, ADT!
