Two tracking units deplete Battery

After having to replace the battery on our Toyota Prado a 2nd time within a year, we asked the Vehicle repair shop to investigate what is draining the battery. After tests they informed us it was the Vehicle Tracking Unit. we requested that they disconnect the unit and made contact with Netstar to come and sort out the issue. Firstly we informed that we should go to the Wynberg centre and we asked why they couldn't send someone out to resolve the issue just like the do when you have it installed initially. A subsequent call from Netstar informed us that when we had a new unit fitted, they had not removed the old unit and that is why it was draining the battery. We were told that they would send out a technician at NO CHARGE to remove the old unit, but would have to PAY to have the new unit re-connected. Two batteries later, I am required to pay for the mistake of Netstar. We have used Netstar since 2005 in this vehicle and they cant come out and fix their mistake and reconnect the other unit at no charge. And I'm not even asking for compenstation for the batteries their mistake caused??? Bad Customer Service. Will rather move to another tracking Company.
