Took my car for inspection and A and J Autoworld after I took insurance with Miway. At the inspection centre I was advised by Jabu the inspector that I can have a tracking device installed, all costs will go to Miway (both installation and premium) as it the new offering insurances give. As I was certain it was a good deal, he arranged for the application and said he will be liaising with both Miway and Tracker and once the application was approved, will phone to inform me of when to have the device installed. What confused me though is when he phoned and asked for my banking details and when I asked why he said it is a standard procedure and should not worry because Miway will incur all costs. As promised he phoned me and told me to bring in the car for installation, which I went and I acknowledged that the device has been installed and signed the installation certificate. To my surprise on the 30th of April 2013, tracker debited my account for the amount of R364.00, which I had reversed. I phoned them and told them what I have been adviced on and there should not be any debits in my account. They said they will investigate by tracing calls to this day have not heard anything.
