NOT TAKING ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS EMPLOYEES

This is a security company that is employed by the complex (The Palisades) where I stay in Midrand. The incident happened on Saturday 20 April 2013 @ about 18:00. The complex has automated slide gate and a boom gate controlled only by the security guard on duty, residents do not own access remote controllers. As I was going out the security guard open the boom gate, while in the middle of the exit gate he closed the gate onto my vehicle and damaged the left fender. On questioning him he replied that he accidentally pressed the wrong button and that he was sorry and he would take full responsibility and make a full confession to his employer about the incident, etc. I called the owner of Kgori security who identified himself only as Berto. He confirmed that he was aware of this and has received the full confession from the guard. He also requested 2 quotes from me, which I did. he promised to give me feedback by Monday 29/04, that call did not materialise. I call him today, he tells me the guard absconded and refused to take any responsibility for the guard's actions while on duty. The Complex managing agent is not taking any action against the security company.
